FEATURES

TOA Roadline Paints(Reflective) are based on high quality acrylic resin, chlorinated rubber

and high reflective glass bead. The reflection has developed after the paint was applied, then
partial of the paint film was scrubbed from the glass bead by traffic and shown it’s reflectivity
that remain effective throughout the life of the paint film. These products are suitable for both
interior and exterior. The properties of these paints are high film build, excellent adhesion on
both asphalt and concrete surfaces, good weathering resistant as well as good resistant to oil,
grease and other road residues.
These paints are suitable for road markings and safety symbols on curbs, roads, streets, highways,
local roads and car park.

Remark – Actual Surface coverage will depend on surface irregularities, Mixing, Application Condition
method and technique; as well as the structure and dimensions of the object to be coated.
Touch dry ( 25-30 °C) 10 –20 minutes.
Recoat dry ( 25-30 °C) 1 hours.
Full cure ( 25-30 °C) 3 days.

APPLICATION SYSTEM
Surface Preparation
Old surface 1.Chalky surfaces or loose material must be removed by stiff brush.
2.The surface must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, wax, salt, old paint and other contaminants.
New surface 1.The surface must be clean with suitable cleansing solution and water then rinse thoroughly with
fresh water and allow to fully dry.
Coating system
Primer : To enhance the adhesion, recommend to apply TOA Penetrating Sealer at least 1 coat on hard
or smooth surface such as polished cement floor

Topcoat Mixing ratios between TOA ROADLINE PAINT and TOA Thinner #81 are 20:2 for first coat and 7:1 for
second coat, respectively.
Apply by brush withTOA ROADLINE PAINT at least 2 coats.(Recoatable time is at least 1 hours)
Recommendation : The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 10 °C and at least 3 °C above the dew point of
the air, temperature and relative humidity measured in the vicinity of the substrate. Good ventilation
is required in confined areas to ensure correct drying.

HANDLING AND STORAGE
Storage condition : The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations.
Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from source of heat and ignition.
Containers must be kept tightly closed.
Shelf life : 2 years.

: Please observe the precautionary notices displayed on the container. Use under well ventilated
conditions. Do not breathe or inhale mist. Avoid skin contact. Spillage on the skin should immediately
be removed with suitable cleanser, soap and water. Eyes should be well flushed with water and
medical attention sought immediately.
